PHOTO & BIRTH CERTIFICATE INFO

ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO UPLOAD A CURRENT PHOTO. CURRENT: LAST 6 MONTHS. NEW PLAYERS (ANY PLAYER WHO DID NOT PLAY IN 2018) ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO UPLOAD A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE PLAYERS BIRTH CERTIFICATE.


Photo guidelines: must be cropped from head to chin and ear to ear (no spacing along the sides), headshot only, facing the camera, in color, clear and recognizable. Cannot be upside down or sideways, no shadows, or anything on the head and no sunglasses (prescription is okay).
*Note: Photos are used for players pass. The player passes are the size of your driver's license so the photo you submit should be identical to what is needed.*

Photo editing tips: When using your cell phone, it is best to take a photo of your child rather than using a photo in your gallery. The editing tools have completely upgraded from last season, it is SO MUCH EASIER to crop from any device now. Just make sure your picture falls within the guidelines above.

Birth certificate guidelines: must be able to read, clear, no shadows and not upside down or sideways.
*note: on the main page of your members account, you will see a box next to your child's photos with an upload button, this is where your birth certificate will need to be uploaded. It is HIGHLY recommended that it is uploaded at the time of registration. If there is a blue check mark to the right of your child's photo that reads "Birth Certificate/ID Document previously uploaded with Cal North" then a birth certificate is not needed.

It is VERY important these meet the guidelines otherwise, they will be removed and asked to be resubmitted.

FAILURE TO COMPLETE THESE ITEMS BEFORE PAYMENT WILL RESULT IN DELAYED REGISTRATION AND/OR DELAYED TEAM PLACMENT. IF YOU ARE REQUESTING A CERTAIN TEAM/FRIEND/COACH AND DO NOT HAVE THESE ITEMS UPLOADED, YOUR REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.

TRANSFERS & REFUNDS

Teams are established based upon prior years team, player birth year, player requests (at the time of registration) or if none indicated, by the Registrar's final decision. If a transfer of player is deemed necessary, it is done only with the permission of the Registrar and the Board. An additional $30.00 fee will be charged to the parent for moves after players are assigned teams and practices have started. Coaches CANNOT trade players. Moving one player requires re-balancing of the teams involved and may disrupt the team's unity if done after practice or the season begins. In general, we cannot move a player to another team "just because". If for whatever reason, your child cannot play and practice with their assigned team, you may request a refund.

There is a $35 Non-Refundable Processing Fee if the player decides not to play after registering. There will be NO REFUNDS given on any requests made on or after July 31st, 2019. For refunds, please email your NHAYSC Treasurer at treasurer@nhyasc.com.
